From ungrafted 70-year-old vines, this Auslese opens stunningly clear, fresh and stony on the nose, with flinty flavors and remarkably fine and precise fruit aromas. This is a very well defined, finessed and mineral Auslese with some Saar features, although it is more lush and tender, of course. The finish is pure and stony, very fine and piquant, with lots of salt and stimulating finesse. A great and gorgeous Mosel Auslese!"
