Robert Parker (91+/100): "The elegant and fine 2015 Talinay Pinot Noir was sourced from the chalkier plots from their Talinay vineyard planted in 2006. It fermented with 25% full clusters and matured in neutral, well-seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months. It comes through as quite aromatic, a little riper than the 2014 I tasted last time, with no impact from the oak. Perhaps it's the very recent bottling that is making it a little dizzy at the moment, so I'd give it the benefit of the doubt, and I might be underestimating it, hence the + and ? after my score. The palate revealed plenty of cherry flavors, hints of graphite and the Talinay saltiness quite nicely folded into the fruit. 16,800 bottles were filled in January 2017."
