Socci Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Bianca 2018

The Verdicchio with body, structure and complexity Bianca is the first Verdicchio made by VINOOXYGEN: a patented system for a vinification where wine production is completed without any excess exposure to oxygen. All extraction, fermentation, and clarification is completed inside the vat and the wine will come out only at the time of bottling. Tasting notes Alive with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, a hint of acacia honey. It seems almost sweet due to the richness of fruit and floral notes on the palate, resulting in a wonderful, rich mouthfeel. A Verdicchio that is powerful, full bodied, and with terrific aromatic structure. *Extremely low levels of added sulphites can be used thanks to the vinification system.

Harold Hamersma (8+): "Socci Bianca. Zo heette mijn allereerste vriendinnetje. Niet Socci. Wel Bianca. Komt in dit geval uit Castelli di Jesi Classico. En de term Superiore is ook op z'n plaats. Heeft een rijke stijl. Vol en veel met zelfs overrijpe ananas en aangesneden Galia meloen die al een tijdje klaar staat op tafel. Had eigenlijk gisteren al gegeten moeten worden. Lijkt eigenlijk in niets op Verdicchio dei Castello di Jesi zoals je die kent. Dat komt mede door het hoge alcoholpercentage van 15%. En dat kost punten."
