Robert Parker: "Boris Kranz's 2014 Ilbesheimer Kalmit Spätburgunder GG offers a beautifully pure and intensely aromatic bouquet with spicy red berry and black currant aromas. On the palate this is a terribly fresh, firm, pure and characterful Pinot Noir with a long, intense, really kicking finish. The red fruits are lingering and remain in liaison with the floral flavors. This is one of the finest and most digestible Pinot Noirs in the Pfalz. Tasted at the "VDP Grosses Gewächs" presentation in Wiesbaden, August 2017."
