Robert Parker (91-93/100): "The 2014 Volnay 1er Cru Taillepieds is 100% whole cluster fruit like the Mitans. It has a taut, detailed, mineral-infused bouquet that gently unfurls in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a surfeit of minerals, beautifully defined, saline in the mouth with a linear, penetrating finish that lingers long and tenderly. The gravel soils of the vineyard really come through here. Excellent, but do cellar this 4-5 years."
